Overview

Invisible Touch Inc. is a full-service auto body shop in Bedford, MA, in business since 2005. We’re looking for an experienced Auto Body Technician to join a small, hands-on team that handles collision repair, dent removal, paint and refinishing, and protective coatings for daily drivers and luxury makes alike — Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche included.

This is shop-floor work: structural frame straightening on a computerized alignment rack, panel repair and replacement, paintless dent repair, and paint-matched refinishing in our downdraft booth. You’ll work from written estimates, flag hidden damage as it’s found, and hand vehicles back that meet a lifetime workmanship warranty.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair collision damage across the structural, panel and refinishing stages
  • Perform frame and unibody alignment using computerized measuring equipment, restoring vehicles to manufacturer tolerance
  • Execute panel repair, replacement and paintless dent repair as appropriate to the damage type
  • Prepare, prime and refinish panels to OEM color-code specification, blending into adjacent panels
  • Work from written estimates and document supplemental damage for insurer approval
  • Recalibrate or flag ADAS sensors and safety systems disturbed during repair
  • Maintain a clean, safe bay and keep tools and equipment in proper working order
  • Communicate repair status accurately to the service and estimating team

Qualifications

  • Hands-on collision repair experience, or completion of a recognized auto body training program
  • I-CAR or ASE certification preferred, or willingness to work toward certification
  • Working knowledge of frame straightening equipment, welding and refinishing systems
  • Comfortable working across domestic, import and luxury makes
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Own hand tools preferred — the shop supplies major equipment (frame rack, paint booth, coating bay)

What we offer

  • Competitive pay, commensurate with experience
  • Steady, year-round work at a shop that’s been in Bedford for over two decades
  • Modern equipment: computerized frame alignment, a downdraft paint booth, and a climate-controlled bay for ceramic coating and PPF
  • Support toward I-CAR / ASE certification
  • A small, hands-on team — not a high-volume chain shop
